Security
The OnTheRunMassage.com web site take every precaution to protect our users information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, their information is protected both online and off-line by a true 128 KB SSL Certificate by Comodo.
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry . While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom or top of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just surfing.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Employees must enter their password to gain access to user information. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a high-security environment at our co-location facility.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
If, however, we are going to use users personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
If customers have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. Terms of Service
Not a Medical Exam – I understand that massage or other services provided through On the Run Massage does not constitute a medical exam or treatment, and that if a problem does or may exist (physical or mental), that I should consult a qualified medical professional.
I am also aware that it is my obligation to inform the massage therapist(s), herein known as the ‘Provider’, of all knows medical conditions prior to receiving service.
Therapeutic Massage Only – The services offered through On the Run Massage are for therapeutic benefit only. I understand that any sexual advances, gestures, remarks or other may result in immediate termination of services, membership services, and/or possible legal action. Refunds will not be given if services are halted due to inappropriate conduct.
Furthermore, I am aware that if the provider deems that there is a potential health risk due to alcohol consumption, drug use, or other, that services may not be performed and that I will not be entitled to a refund.
Gratuity – The rates for services offered through On the Run Massage DO NOT include gratuity. Gratuity may be added at time of purchase of the service(s), or given directly to the provider at the commencement of service(s) being rendered. Gratuity is not required, but always greatly appreciated, and generosity is always remembered.
Under the Age of 18 – If client is under the age of 18 years old, a competent adult must be present. I understand that if I, or the person(s) receiving services are under the age of 18 do not have a competent adult present, that service(s) may not be provided and that I will not be entitled to a refund.
Provider – I am aware that On the Run Massage utilizes an in-house directory of massage therapists that have chosen to provide services through On the Run Massage, whereas On the Run Massage acts as a central dispatch and processing center for individuals seeking services advertized by On the Run Massage. I understand that On the Run Massage verifies each provider’s massage therapy license and insurance, and performs periodic checks of credentials, but may not necessarily perform a full background check or be aware of any licensing or insurance changes of the provider. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless On the Run Massage, its officers, employees, subsidiaries, parent company, affiliates, successors, assignees, directors, agents, service providers, and suppliers from any claim, demand, lawsuit or other including attorney and court expenses. I further understand that On the Run Massage, and those above mentioned, shall not be liable for any aspect of the use, non-use, and/or misuse of any service(s) including damage, theft or other, provided through On the Run Massage. In the event that an incident should occur, On the Run Massage agrees to cooperate fully in helping resolve the problem, situation, or legal action against provider.
If a provider acts inappropriately in any way, I understand that I am requested to report the incident to On the Run Massage for further investigation.
Cancelation – Cancelation of any scheduled appointment must be made a minimum of 24 hours before the time of service. Failure to so will result in a $0 refund. I also understand that after two cancelations, any subsequent cancelations may still incur a fee of up to one-half of the service(s) purchase, and no refund will be given if cancelation occurs within 24 hours of service(s)
Rescheduling – If rescheduling is needed, On the Run Massage will attempt to accommodated and reschedule with assigned provider or assign a new provider. If reschedule is requested within 24 hours of original service appointment time, a $15 service fee may be charged if accommodations can be arranged with provider for a service time change on the same day as original service day. On the Run Massage will make its best efforts, but if accommodations can not be made, for a time change for service on the same day, the occurrence will be treated as a cancelation and no refund will be given.
Gift Massages - Un-used gift-massages will expire 12 months from the effective date issued.
Parking Policy – I understand that if there is a fee for parking at the requested place of service, that I will be responsible for those fees. Parking fees must be paid at time of service payment.
Membership – I understand that as a member of On the Run Massage that the above terms and conditions still apply. If I decide to cancel my membership, I am aware that I will be financially responsible for one-half of the remaining time or balance on my membership, and that my credit/debit card on file may be charged accordingly. The same applies to membership termination due to inappropriate behavior, or other legal reason why On the Run Massage would terminate my membership. In any such event, there will be no addition services provided or credits given. If membership fees where already paid in full, no refunds will be given if agreement is terminated for any reason. If I decide to terminate my membership agreement with On the Run Massage, I am aware that it must be submitted to On the Run Massage a minimum for two weeks (14 day) prior to my next billing cycle. I also understand that On the Run Massage has the right to terminate my agreement as described above at any time do to any reason as described above.
I understand that unused massages will expire 90 days after their billing period, and that any unused massage will automatically expire upon the termination or end date of my On the Run Massage membership.
I am also aware that I have the right to gift my monthly massage to family or friends so long that they are in the service area of On the Run Massage. Gift massages may also be purchased at the member gift rate. I understand that notice must be given to On the Run Massage in writing prior to service for security purposes for the transfer of any massage. It is my responsibility to inform any recipient of any gifted or transferred massage from me about the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of On the Run Massage. I further understand that my membership may be restricted or canceled do to inappropriate action by the recipient of a gifted or transferred On the Run Massage service that initiated.
As a member, I am aware that additional massages may at the membership discount rate are available to anyone upon my request so long as the services are being conducted at my primary residence.
Agreement – I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions described above and that I am at least 18 years of age. I also agree that these terms and conditions will apply to all future services provided through On the Run Massage. Any claim, lawsuit or otherwise fall under the laws and jurisdiction of the state of Arizona.
